Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental science, construction management, or related field or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years of experience in safety, production, and quality roles in the construction industry
- OSHA-30 certification
- strong knowledge of state and federal OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation requirements
- proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently between Georgia and Texas
- flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends
- effective communication and leadership skills
- strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Job Qualifications

- prior experience managing SPQ programs across multiple job sites preferred
- demonstrated success in training delivery and program implementation preferred
- experience with root-cause analysis and dashboard reporting systems preferred
Job Duties
- Create, update, and enforce safety, production, and quality policies to maintain a compliant, efficient, and safe work environment
- collaborate with managers, supervisors, field personnel, and quality staff to resolve SPQ-related issues
- organize and deliver training and presentations on safety protocols, hazard communication, equipment operation, and emergency procedures
- conduct regular inspections of work areas, equipment, and processes
- identify hazards, compliance gaps, and quality issues
- prepare written findings and recommendations
- document site conditions using standardized, metric-driven reporting and dashboards
- maintain site-specific safety plans and ensure compliance through routine inspections
- lead root-cause investigations of accidents and near misses
- develop corrective action plans to prevent recurrence
- develop and maintain Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) reports in collaboration with project teams
- conduct special studies and analysis of occupational safety programs and policies
- maintain complete safety files and records in a self-auditing manner
- travel between project sites in Georgia and Texas regularly, as assigned
- perform additional duties as assigned, including basic office tasks and occasional equipment operation
