Job Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years experience in a safety-related role
  • knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations
  • strong communication skills
  • experience in risk assessment and accident investigation
  • ability to manage multiple projects efficiently

Job Qualifications

  • HS diploma bachelor’s preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a safety-focused role with demonstrable experience in developing and implementing safety programs
  • strong understanding of OSHA EPA and other relevant safety and environmental regulations
  • excellent communication interpersonal and training skills
  • proficiency in conducting risk assessments and accident investigations
  • ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively

Job Duties

  • develop and implement safety policies procedures and best practices to maintain a safe and healthy workplace
  • conduct regular safety audits and inspections of facilities equipment and work practices to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards
  • investigate workplace accidents incidents and near-misses documenting findings and recommending corrective actions
  • organize and deliver safety training programs for employees on topics such as hazard recognition emergency procedures and the proper use of safety equipment
  • monitor and ensure compliance with environmental health and safety EHS regulations and internal safety policies
  • maintain safety records and prepare detailed reports on safety performance trends and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • collaborate with management and employees to promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization
  • stay current on industry trends regulatory changes and best practices in occupational health and safety
