Job Requirements

  • 3+ years in safety with a commercial general contractor
  • fluent in both English and Spanish preferred

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years in safety with a commercial general contractor
  • bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance
  • excellent communication and presentation skills
  • ability to conduct thorough safety inspections and reports
  • experience in developing and implementing safety programs
  • leadership and team-building skills

Job Duties

  • Conduct employee and subcontractor safety-related meetings and presentations
  • review all accident and incident investigation reports for completeness and accuracy
  • publish lessons learned from near misses, accidents, and incidents
  • oversee walk-through inspections at project sites with project personnel
  • provide technical guidance and expertise to Project Managers and Superintendents
  • conduct comprehensive reviews of sites to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory agency standards and company policies
  • serve as primary contact and responsible for direct communication with OSHA and all safety regulatory agencies
  • develop programs for monitoring subcontractor safety performance
  • attend job sites regularly
  • perform other duties as assigned
