Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in safety management, construction management, or related field preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction safety management
- OSHA-510 certification required
- Proven ability to lead safety initiatives on complex projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 40-60 hours per week including possible Saturdays
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Job Qualifications
- Strong background in construction safety management
- Proven leadership in complex project environments
- Ability to effectively represent the owner's interests
- BCSP certifications strongly preferred
- OSHA-510 certification required
- At least 10-15 years experience overseeing safety management
- Prior experience working with owner representatives preferred
Job Duties
- Conducting project safety inspections and orientations
- Safety training as requested or required
- Observation and monitoring of worksite employees and safety practices
- Complete document reviews, contractor correspondence, and document management
- Other tasks and activities within the realm of the EHS profession within the manager's skills, abilities, certifications, and authorizations
- Communicating safety standards between trades, GC and sub-contractors
