Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in safety management, construction management, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in construction safety management
  • OSHA-510 certification required
  • Proven ability to lead safety initiatives on complex projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work 40-60 hours per week including possible Saturdays
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

Job Qualifications

  • Strong background in construction safety management
  • Proven leadership in complex project environments
  • Ability to effectively represent the owner's interests
  • BCSP certifications strongly preferred
  • OSHA-510 certification required
  • At least 10-15 years experience overseeing safety management
  • Prior experience working with owner representatives preferred

Job Duties

  • Conducting project safety inspections and orientations
  • Safety training as requested or required
  • Observation and monitoring of worksite employees and safety practices
  • Complete document reviews, contractor correspondence, and document management
  • Other tasks and activities within the realm of the EHS profession within the manager's skills, abilities, certifications, and authorizations
  • Communicating safety standards between trades, GC and sub-contractors
