Job Requirements

  • OSHA 30 certification
  • three plus years progressively responsible experience in safety and risk management
  • valid driver’s license
  • availability to travel 70 percent as business dictates
  • experience with MS Office Suite

Job Qualifications

  • three plus years of progressive safety and risk management experience
  • valid driver’s license
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • ability to travel up to 70 percent of the time
  • bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • experience in construction or commercial facilities safety

Job Duties

  • Implement and evaluate safety efforts to support company policies with a focus on incident prevention and loss abatement
  • attend customer meetings as required
  • prepare safety reports and documents for leadership
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and local safety regulations
  • conduct on-site risk assessments and job hazard analyses
  • implement controls to mitigate identified risks
  • enforce safety policies and coach employees
  • perform accident investigations and identify root causes
  • maintain OSHA recordkeeping and compliance
  • facilitate safe work techniques and safety training
  • lead safety audits, inspections, and meetings
  • travel to construction sites to manage safety initiatives
  • conduct workplace inspections and recommend corrective actions
  • coordinate safety training including new hire orientation
  • work effectively with diverse populations
  • drive a strong safety philosophy and behavior change in operations
  • maintain confidentiality and organizational accuracy
