Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of safety management experience is required
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Transportation Management or related field
- 3+ years of safety management experience in the transportation or construction industry, preferred
- Prior ready mix experience in any capacity a plus
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations, especially FMCSA and DOT regulations required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Keen attention to detail and ability to interpret and analyze data and trends
- Must have a valid Arizona driver's license and a clean MVR
- Ability to work outdoors, in all weather conditions, as needed
- Ability to travel and work after hours as needed
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures including but not limited to our ready mix concrete batch plants, shop site, corporate, and various types of drivers and equipment operators
- Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks
- Train and educate employees on safety protocols and regulations
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root cause and implement corrective actions
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations
- Collaborate with all levels of management and other departments to ensure safety goals are met
