Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- OSHA certification a plus
- current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications a plus
- proficiency with GSuite and Microsoft Office
- understanding of federal and state safety laws and OSHA regulations
- must meet driving record and criminal history requirements
- ability to respond under pressure
- must maintain regular attendance
- ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- must be 21 years old or older
- pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- eligible to work in the US without restrictions
- must maintain acceptable driving record
- willingness to travel up to 25%

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in transportation safety management, security management, logistics, or related field
- OSHA certifications such as Certified Occupational Safety Specialist (COSS or COSM) a plus
- current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications a plus
- minimum of 3 years of transportation management and/or safety/security management experience
- first responder and/or public safety experience a plus
- proficiency with laptop computers and GSuite applications
- intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
- working knowledge of performance management and monitoring systems
- understanding of federal and state safety laws and OSHA standards
- ability to analyze risk trends and identify solutions
- excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- ability to develop, coach, and mentor staff
- cooperative team player

Job Duties
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding transportation and workplace safety
- liaise with outside vendors and stakeholders to assure operational safety compliance to prescribed TAS initiatives
- assist with the incident management process including coordination of reporting, investigation, documentation, management and supervisor field training
- represent the TAS safety management team in cross functional facility and process inspections
- liaise to training and operations staff for remediation activities such as collisions, RREs, and fatigue
- responsible for company and location safety initiatives, programs, campaigns, workplace signage and employee safety incentives to reduce accidents
- implement fatigue program efforts with requisite TAS operations management
- support safety committee membership for each site and cultivate activity
- own quality assurance of all safety escalation chain of command processes and reporting
- drive accuracy, reliability, and timely delivery of OPS Staff safety escalation processes, response, investigation, and reporting of vehicle collisions, workplace incidents, physical security events, distracted driving, and fatigued driving
- collaborate with TAS Compliance Team with follow up validation and post incident research
- audit TAS Safety digital files to maintain a clean working folder
- ensure all active operators are trained on all safety policies and procedures
- conduct safety audits and inspections of fleet, facility, and operator workforce
- respond quickly to changing and high-pressure environments
- provide concise, clear, and accurate verbal and written feedback regarding vehicle operations
- ensure compliance with Transdev’s Autonomous Vehicle Division zero-tolerance policy regarding alcohol or drug use by operators
- be on call to respond to critical incidents
- travel as required up to 25%
- perform all other duties as assigned
