Within this dynamic environment, the OPS Hospitality Service PA Health Screeners department is seeking dedicated Safety and Security Ambassadors. These ambassadors play a pivotal role in various hospitality and security functions across the campus. Reporting directly to the Supervisor of Safety and Security, these team members are responsible for staffing multiple family hospitality and safety service points, including hospital information desks, waiting room desks in ICU and NICU, operating room waiting areas, discharge lobbies, and entrance points to different buildings on campus. Their role requires vigilance in monitoring safety and security concerns, ensuring a safe environment while providing exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to follow instructions, and proficiency with computers. The ambassadors act as both greeters and security monitors, performing duties that enhance the overall healthcare experience at UAMS. This is a regular, benefits-eligible position with a salary commensurate with education and experience and does not offer sponsorship.
