Job Description

Our company operates as a reputable RV dealership specializing in the sale and servicing of new and used recreational vehicles (RVs). We are committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences by maintaining an attractive, clean, and organized sales environment. This commitment extends from our management team through every employee who supports the day-to-day operations of our dealership. We pride ourselves on providing a professional atmosphere that highlights the quality of our inventory and showcases the full potential of recreational vehicle ownership.

The Lot Porter position plays a vital role in upholding the aesthetic appeal and safety standards of both our new and used RV lots. As a Lot Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the entire sales area, including ensuring all RVs are spotless and properly displayed. This role involves various physical activities such as moving vehicles as directed, performing janitorial duties, and making sure all areas remain clear of debris. The Lot Porter acts as a key support member in preparing RVs for delivery and assisting with pre-delivery inspections, making sure every unit meets our stringent quality standards before reaching our customers.

Working as a Lot Porter demands a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with the management team and other staff members. This full-time position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet dealership needs. Ideal candidates will have a professional personal appearance, excellent communication skills, and the physical capability to perform demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects, bending, stooping, and prolonged periods of standing or walking. Previous experience in a similar role within retail automotive or RV dealership environments is advantageous but not mandatory.

This hands-on position contributes significantly to the overall success and positive image of the dealership. It ensures that every potential and current customer experiences a clean, welcoming, and visually appealing lot environment which reflects the high standards and values of our company. Joining our team as a Lot Porter offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and take pride in maintaining impeccable surroundings. You will be part of a team that supports both sales and service departments through your attention to detail and relentless pursuit of perfection in lot upkeep.
