RV Detailer & Lot Porter Hybrid Role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual for a hybrid Detailer and Lot Porter role at Blue Compass RV. This position is ideal for those who appreciate hard work, attention to detail, and enjoy staying physically active in an outdoor environment. The Detailer/Lot Porter hybrid plays a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of the dealership by ensuring every RV on the lot is spotless, fresh, and ready to impress customers at first glance. The hybrid nature of the role requires versatility, balancing meticulous cleaning and detailing responsibilities with the careful movement and organization of RV units across the dealership lot.

As a Detailer, you will be responsible for making every RV shine, both inside and out, using a variety of tools such as vacuums, power washers, and polishing equipment. Even if you are new to these tools, Blue Compass RV offers training to help you become proficient. Maintaining showroom-level cleanliness and appearance is paramount, as it directly influences customer perception of the dealership and its inventory.

As a Lot Porter, you will safely relocate RVs across the lot, into service bays, or onto display areas, often utilizing forklifts or tow vehicles. Your role ensures the dealership lot remains well-organized, safe, and welcoming for customers and staff alike. Additionally, you will assist the service and sales teams with staging vehicles, preparing for events, and conducting basic inspections to identify potential issues early. Your keen eye for detail is essential in preventing problems and keeping operations running smoothly.
