The role of Runner With-Driving at HMSHost is a vital position responsible for managing both physical and clerical tasks related to the shipment and reception of supplies as well as finished products within the warehouse and store environments. This non-exempt position typically reports to either the Warehouse Manager or General Manager depending on local organizational structures. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management, product rotation, order fulfillment, and overall warehouse operations. Key responsibilities include verifying shipping records, ensuring correct packaging and labeling, unpacking received goods, managing damaged or expired products, and collaborating with materials transportation companies to facilitate smooth delivery processes. The Runner With-Driving also supports the maintenance of fixtures, equipment, bin locations, and the physical inventory process, ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety procedures set by the company.

This position requires a candidate with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and physical stamina, as the role entails bending, twisting, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Additionally, where applicable, the candidate must be capable of safely driving a truck, which may include possessing a valid driver’s license and maintaining a clean driving record as evidenced by DMV documentation.
