Job Description
Cinepolis USA is a distinguished luxury cinema exhibitor known for delivering premium and immersive movie-going experiences through its innovative theater concepts, including "Cinepolis Luxury Cinemas" and "Movie House & Eatery." Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Cinepolis operates 26 luxury and premium theaters across several key states such as California, Florida, New Jersey, Connecticut, Texas, Maryland, and Ohio, with exciting plans for further expansion. As part of the globally recognized Cinepolis International network—the most popular movie theater exhibitor worldwide—Cinepolis USA is dedicated to excellence in the fields of innovation, film, and hospitality, ensuring every guest enjoys a superior cinematic experience that extends beyond just watching a movie.
Being a team member at Cinepolis USA means becoming part of a vibrant, growing company culture that prioritizes employees and their contributions above all else. Cinepolis emphasizes quality customer service under the motto "Nice and Amazing Service," providing generous employee discounts on movie tickets, food, and beverages, as well as celebrating work anniversaries with meaningful gifts. This commitment highlights the brand’s focus on a positive and rewarding workplace environment.
The role being offered falls under the Operations department within the theater location, directly reporting to the General Manager. This position is central to ensuring customers receive not only their orders promptly but also an outstanding overall experience in the theater setting. The responsibilities include serving food and beverages to guests directly at their seats, following strict In Seat Dining procedures while maintaining high standards of service and quality. Collaboration and communication with kitchen staff and team members are vital to coordinate the timely and accurate delivery of orders.
This role also entails maintaining theater cleanliness by removing dishes and trash, managing guest interactions by guiding them through the menu and suggesting promotions or upsells, and handling guest questions or complaints with professionalism. Additionally, employees support their team by scanning tickets, checking restrooms, and assisting with concessions and box office sales as needed. An important aspect of this job includes being attentive to any technical issues such as movie projection problems and promptly informing management.
Ideal candidates should exhibit commitment, integrity, and an ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The job requires attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively. Work schedules include nights, holidays, and weekends, reflecting the nature of the entertainment industry. Importantly, this position calls for individuals who are not only service-oriented but also team players enthusiastic about contributing to a seamless and enjoyable cinematic experience.
