Food runners play a critical role in the smooth operation of our restaurant by serving as the link between the kitchen and the dining area. This position requires efficiency, attention to detail, and a strong sense of customer service. As a food runner, you will be responsible for transporting meals quickly and safely from the kitchen to the designated drop-off points within the restaurant. Your work helps maintain the flow of service and keeps our guests satisfied with timely delivery of their orders. Being physically capable is essential, as this role involves lifting, carrying, and balancing trays that can weigh up to 50 pounds, sometimes maneuvering through crowded areas. Job Requirements

Ability to lift, carry and balance trays weighing up to 50 pounds
Good grooming and personal hygiene
Passion for excellent customer service
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Ability to navigate crowded restaurant areas safely
Basic knowledge of food safety standards
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is an asset
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Physical ability to lift and carry heavy trays

Job Duties

Expedite and deliver all food and appropriate accompaniments from the kitchen to the drop off areas throughout the restaurant
Lift, carry, balance and deliver trays weighing up to 50 pounds
Maneuver swiftly through crowded areas while carrying trays
Ensure food is delivered promptly and in excellent condition
Maintain good grooming and professional appearance
Provide friendly and efficient customer service
Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization in the service areas
