As part of a larger Sonoma-based restaurant group, the company operates multiple dining concepts, a full-service catering operation, and event hosting services. This dynamic environment prides itself on blending classic favorites with modern culinary techniques, ensuring a memorable dining experience that highlights local flavors and artisan craftsmanship. With a focus on sustainable sourcing and thoughtful presentation, the girl & the fig has become a favorite among locals and visitors alike, fostering a community-oriented dining culture that values both tradition and innovation.
The position of Food Runner at the girl & the fig offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced hospitality settings and enjoy being an integral part of the guest experience. The Food Runner must exhibit strong communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and an ability to maintain professionalism while moving quickly and accurately throughout service periods. In this role, you will not only assist in the transportation of food but also collaborate closely with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to maintain an organized and streamlined service flow, enhancing overall customer satisfaction. The girl & the fig encourages a positive work culture, emphasizing teamwork, effective communication, and ongoing learning, making this an ideal position for aspiring hospitality professionals seeking to grow their skills in a supportive environment.
