Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to three years of food service experience preferred
  • Must have Safe Server Alcohol and Food Handlers certification
  • Must have California RBS Certification
  • Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to four hours
  • Ability to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs frequently
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Must have basic computational ability
  • Must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
  • Must comply with attendance standards and resort rules
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures and physically demanding conditions
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat and stretch occasionally
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions and manual dexterity tasks

Job Qualifications

  • High school completion or an equivalent level of education
  • One to three years food service experience preferred
  • Safe Server Alcohol and Food Handlers certification
  • California RBS Certification
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Basic computational ability
  • Knowledge of table and bar service
  • Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
  • Ability to describe all menu items and methods of preparation
  • Ability to operate coffee maker and cash terminals
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, ordinances and regulations

Job Duties

  • Deliver food to guests dining in restaurant
  • Ensure guest satisfaction with their food
  • Ensure serve corridor safety by transporting all equipment in the proper manner
  • Replenishes guest water
  • makes and pours coffee
  • Clears tables throughout the dining experience using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware and silverware
  • Cleans tables, chairs and floor area
  • Resets table quickly
  • Restocks busing stations regularly polishing silverware, folding napkins, and stocking with China, glassware, ice and clearing trays
  • Assists service team as necessary to meet and exceed guest expectations
  • Be responsible for handling of all equipment and linens
  • Ensure that all spills and breakage are attended to immediately and proper safety procedures are followed
  • Responsible for the proper handling of all food and equipment
  • All other duties assigned by Restaurant Managers and Supervisors
