Job Requirements

High school completion or equivalent education
One to three years food service experience preferred
Safe Server Alcohol & Food Handlers certification required
California RBS Certification
Ability to work in extreme temperatures, including freezers (-10°F) and kitchens (+110°F) for up to one hour or more
Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to four hours
Ability to maneuver between functions in limited spaces
Ability to lift trays weighing up to 30 lbs occasionally
Ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs frequently
Must possess good communication skills
Ability to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace
Must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
Regular attendance and punctuality according to company standards
Compliance with safety and operational policies of Azul Hospitality
Willingness to work varying schedules depending on resort business needs
Ability to attend all scheduled training sessions and meetings

Job Qualifications

High school completion or equivalent education
One to three years food service experience preferred
Safe Server Alcohol & Food Handlers certification required
California RBS Certification
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Basic computational ability
Knowledge of table and bar service
Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
Ability to describe all menu items and methods of preparation
Knowledge of and ability to operate all equipment related to the outlet, including coffee maker and cash terminals
Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, ordinances and regulations

Job Duties

Deliver food to guests dining in restaurant
Ensure guest satisfaction with their food
Ensure serve corridor safety by transporting all equipment in the proper manner
Replenishes guest water, makes and pours coffee
Clears tables throughout the dining experience using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware and silverware
Cleans tables, chairs and floor area
Resets table quickly
Restocks busing stations regularly polishing silverware, folding napkins, and stocking with china, glassware, ice and clearing trays
Assists service team as necessary to meet and exceed guest expectations
Be responsible for handling of all equipment and linens
Ensure that all spills and breakage are attended to immediately and proper safety procedures are followed
Responsible for the proper handling of all food and equipment
All other duties assigned by restaurant managers and supervisors
