The role of Food and Beverage Delivery Associate at Proper Hospitality is essential to maintaining the high standards of service that guests expect. This position involves efficiently transporting food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in delivery. Job Duties

  • Transport food and beverages from kitchen to dining area promptly and accurately
  • double-check orders before delivery ensuring accuracy including special requests or dietary preferences
  • assist in delivering food to guests, working closely with servers to ensure correct and timely presentation
  • serve food with attention to detail following restaurant standards for plating and garnish
  • communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and address order discrepancies
  • help prioritize orders and expedite delivery during peak hours
  • assist servers in replenishing drinks, side items, and condiments
  • collaborate with bussers and team members to maintain cleanliness and order in the dining area
  • clear empty plates and utensils and assist in resetting tables
  • maintain organization ensuring dining area is free of clutter and properly stocked
  • promptly remove unused items such as glassware or silverware
  • adhere to health and safety guidelines in food handling and delivery
  • ensure careful handling to avoid spillage and maintain cleanliness
  • regularly clean trays, carts, and service items for sanitation
