Job Description

UniFirst is an international leader in the $18 billion garment services industry, employing over 16,000 team partners who serve 300,000 business customer locations throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Recognized on the Forbes magazine's "Platinum 400 - Best Big Companies" list and ranked in the top 10 of Selling Power magazine’s "Best Companies to Sell For," UniFirst stands out as a company that prioritizes excellence, inclusion, and growth. With a solid reputation built over decades, UniFirst’s commitment to both its customers and employees makes it a reliable and forward-thinking organization in the uniform and workwear services sector. The company boasts a supportive and inclusive work culture, emphasizing diversity and equal opportunity employment, welcoming people of all backgrounds to join their team. UniFirst is dedicated to creating an environment where team members can thrive, develop their careers, and contribute meaningfully to the company's ongoing success.

The role of Route Service Representative (RSR) at UniFirst is a dynamic and engaging position designed for proactive and customer-oriented professionals who enjoy being on the move. As the face of UniFirst to the customers along an assigned route, the RSR builds strong relationships by delivering consistent, reliable service while managing the daily logistics of garment and product deliveries and pickups. This role emphasizes both independence and teamwork; the RSR works autonomously to manage their route effectively while contributing to the larger service operation.

An RSR at UniFirst is responsible for serving as the primary contact for customers, handling loading and unloading of route trucks, ensuring on-time service, and identifying growth opportunities through upselling and account expansion. The role offers a predictable Monday to Friday daytime schedule with no nights or weekends, fostering great work-life balance. This job demands a physically active individual who can handle lifting, carrying, and pushing loads up to 50 pounds and sustain energy throughout the day. The RSR is also expected to uphold high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction, representing UniFirst with integrity and care.

UniFirst supports RSRs through formal training programs such as the SCP training and offers extensive career development opportunities. Compensation for the role includes competitive wages, 401(k) with company match, profit sharing, health and life insurance, paid time off, employee discounts, tuition reimbursement, and more. This position is suited for those with a clean driving record, a valid driver's license, and a passion for service. It’s an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to make a direct impact, grow their income from commissions, and contribute to a trusted and well-established company with nationwide presence. Joining UniFirst means embarking on a career path with growth potential, stability, and the chance to be part of a respected leader in its industry.
