Job Description

Cozzini Bros. is America’s premier knife rental and sharpening service, trusted by over 100,000 restaurants and commercial kitchens nationwide. Established in 1905 as a family business in Chicago, Cozzini Bros. has grown into the foremost provider of custom-engineered knives and blades, offering a seamless knife delivery and sharpening exchange program that helps kitchens maintain the highest standards of quality, consistency, and safety. As the go-to partner for commercial kitchens, Cozzini Bros. offers a unique service model, renewing knife sets every two weeks to ensure optimal sharpness and performance, which is essential in a fast-paced culinary environment.

Cozzini Bros. is driven by six core values: Safety, Service, Trust, Team, Continuous Improvement, and Integrity. These values underpin the company’s commitment to providing a superior experience for their clients, fostering trustworthy relationships, promoting a safe working environment, and striving for ongoing operational excellence. The company’s deep-rooted history and dedication to quality make it a stable and respected player in the food service industry.

The available role in Chicago, IL, offers an exceptional opportunity for motivated individuals to join a stable, growing business known for its reliability and customer-focus. The position is designed for delivery professionals who enjoy interacting with clients, handling light physical tasks, and driving company vehicles like sprinter or transit vans. This job emphasizes work-life balance with Monday to Thursday, 10-hour shifts, providing three-day weekends - an appealing schedule for those seeking regular and predictable hours.

In this position, you will be responsible for delivering and exchanging Cozzini Bros. cutlery and kitchen blades with national and local restaurants, food service providers, and grocery clients. You will also facilitate transactions by collecting payments and promoting the company’s programs and promotions. Use of handheld devices will help you manage inventory efficiently while on the road. The role focuses on building and maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring that clients receive timely, friendly service that supports their kitchen’s operational needs. This is not a one-time delivery job; it involves consistent weekly service, which allows for steady income and the development of rapport with customers.

Competitive pay combined with incentives, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, short and long-term disability, a 401k plan with company match, paid holidays, and vacation make this a compelling employment offer. Career growth is actively encouraged, and the company prides itself on a supportive team-oriented work environment where your efforts are valued and recognized.

Join Cozzini Bros. to be part of an enduring legacy in the commercial kitchen supply industry, enjoy a balanced lifestyle, and contribute to enhancing the safety and efficiency of kitchens nationwide. This role suits individuals motivated by customer service excellence, reliability, and physical activity and offers a rewarding career path in a well-established company.
