Job Description

Cozzini Bros. is America’s top knife rental and sharpening service, trusted by over 100,000 restaurants and commercial kitchens nationwide. Established in 1905 as a family business in Chicago, Cozzini Bros. has evolved into the premier solution for enhancing the quality, consistency, and safety of commercial kitchens across the country. Specializing in the provision of Cozzini-engineered knives and blades, the company offers a unique service where knives and blades are exchanged every two weeks to ensure that commercial kitchens stay sharp and efficient. The company’s reputation is built on six core values: Safety, Service, Trust, Team, Continuous Improvement, and Integrity, which drive the cutting edge in knife exchange services.

Located in New York City, NY, Cozzini Bros. is currently seeking delivery professionals who will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards and reliable service the company is known for. This position offers a perfect balance of steady work and a supportive environment, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in customer-focused, fast-paced settings. The employment type includes consistent and recurring delivery routes with a schedule of Monday to Thursday, 10-hour shifts, providing employees with three-day weekends every week. This schedule supports a healthy work-life balance, which is highly valued by the company.

The delivery driver role involves operating small sprinter or transit vans, with no commercial driver’s license (CDL) required. The tasks center around delivering and exchanging cutlery and knife sets, as well as kitchen blades used on equipment such as can openers, deli slicers, and food processors, to national and local restaurants, food service businesses, and grocery customers. This service is not a one-time delivery but a recurring essential service, contributing to the smooth and safe operation of commercial kitchens. In addition to delivery duties, the position involves collecting payments on invoices via cash, card, or check, and using handheld devices to track and manage customer knife sets efficiently.

Cozzini Bros. provides competitive pay with added incentives, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long-term disability, and a 401(k) plan with a company match. Employees enjoy six paid holidays, paid vacation, and a team environment that emphasizes growth opportunities within the company. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy dependable work, value customer service, and want to be part of a company with a rich history and a strong commitment to quality and safety. The company also highlights a safety-first approach, ensuring that the operation of company vehicles is conducted responsibly and that all physical aspects of the job are performed safely, including lifting, loading, and delivery tasks.
