The Service Technician role at USS is pivotal, serving as the frontline representative responsible for the operation and maintenance of the company’s service trucks and portable restroom units. The Service Technician will perform routine servicing, pumping, and cleaning duties on portable restrooms and holding tanks, adhering strictly to USS's 8-point service standard. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as the technician may need to adjust routes or schedules to meet dynamic site requirements, providing feedback to supervisors to optimize operational efficiency.
Physically demanding, the job requires the ability to perform various movements including sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting weights up to 150 pounds regularly. Safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) policies are mandatory, highlighting the importance of safe truck operation and secure workplace practices.

Job Qualifications
- minimum two years of commercial driving experience
- valid driver license (CDL or non-commercial)
- excellent time management skills
- strong customer service and communication skills
- proficient problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Job Duties
- Operate service truck in accordance with company and DOT requirements
- perform portable restroom servicing to USS standards
- ensure all duties comply with safety regulations
- lift and move equipment weighing between 50 and 150 lbs
- interact with customers professionally onsite
- adjust routes based on customer needs and operational feedback
- plan strategically for customer portable restroom needs
