Job Description

United Site Services (USS) is a leading provider in the site services industry, renowned for its comprehensive solutions designed to support a broad range of project and event needs. With a commitment to forging strong partnerships, USS prioritizes customer success by delivering reliable and efficient services. The company’s expertise spans various domains, supported by processes that emphasize safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility. The workforce at USS includes diverse roles such as field technicians, customer care representatives, sales professionals, and functional experts, all collaborating to maintain high service standards and ensure customer satisfaction.

At United Site Services, the role of Service Technician is pivotal to the company's operations. This position involves operating a company service truck to travel to different sites where the technician is responsible for servicing, pumping, and cleaning portable restrooms and holding tanks. The Service Technician serves as the frontline representative of USS, interacting directly with customers and ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and adherence to strict service standards. This role requires a blend of technical skills, physical stamina, and excellent customer service abilities.

The job entails driving under guidelines set by USS and the Department of Transportation (DOT), maintaining safety standards that safeguard both the technician and the public. Service Technicians are required to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects frequently, and maintaining portable toilets according to an eight-point service checklist developed by USS, ensuring sanitation and usability. Customer interaction is a key element of the job, with technicians expected to communicate effectively and flexibly adjust service routes and schedules to match customer demands.

Operational feedback and strategic planning also form a part of the role, as Service Technicians provide insight on route efficiency and work collaboratively with managers and supervisors to optimize service delivery. This proactive approach helps anticipate and fulfill clients' current and future portable restroom needs. The position is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy physical activity, and value the importance of excellent customer service in maintaining client satisfaction and loyalty.

The offered salary for this position ranges from $20.42 to $27.57 per hour, reflecting factors such as geography, skill level, and experience. Full-time employees working an average of 30 hours or more per week are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision coverage, paid time off, and retirement plans with employer matching. The company also emphasizes equal employment opportunities and compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws. This commitment ensures a fair and inclusive workplace free from discrimination of any kind. The role of Service Technician at USS presents a fulfilling opportunity for motivated individuals to join a reputable company that values safety, quality, and continuous improvement in its services.
