Job Description
United Site Services (USS) stands as the industry leader in comprehensive site services, proudly committed to creating lasting partnerships that significantly contribute to the success of our customers' projects and events. With a deep pool of industry expertise, USS excels in process management and upholds a robust dedication to corporate responsibility. These pillars support our value proposition through tangible, best-practice programs designed to deliver unparalleled service quality. Our dynamic team comprises field technicians, customer care representatives, sales professionals, and functional experts, all collaborating to guarantee a seamless and reliable experience for our clients. USS fosters an environment that values continuous improvement, teamwork, and excellence across every facet of the business.
As a Service Technician at United Site Services, you will assume a vital role that lies at the heart of our operations. The position requires operating a company service truck while driving to various locations to service, pump, and clean portable restrooms or holding tanks. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of hygiene and functionality our customers expect. You will be entrusted with performing essential truck driving duties safely and efficiently, adhering to both USS and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
This role goes beyond just truck operation; it requires physical dedication through tasks that include lifting, pushing up to 150 pounds frequently, and performing activities such as sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. You will be expected to conduct portable toilet servicing following USS’s detailed 8-point service standard, ensuring every client site receives impeccable service. Interaction with customers is a key component of this role, as you will be responsible for verifying that services meet their expectations and making adjustments as necessary to ensure satisfaction.
Flexibility is essential because customer needs can change, and efficient route planning is a part of your responsibilities. Providing routing feedback to supervisors and coordinating with operations management ensures service routes are optimized and customers receive the best possible care. You will also engage with customers to strategically plan for their current and future portable toilet needs, contributing to long-term client satisfaction and repeat business.
To attract and reward talented individuals, USS offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus paid over four installments within 12 months (external candidates receive $500 every three months). The hourly wage ranges from $18.56 to $25.06, depending on location, experience, and qualifications. Full-time employees working an average of 30 hours or more per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision coverage, paid time off, and retirement plans.
United Site Services is an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to diversity and inclusion, and compliant with federal, state, and local regulations. If you thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and possess the physical stamina and driving skills required, this role provides an excellent career opportunity within a company that values its team members and their contributions.
