The Service Technician role at United Site Services is integral to the company's operations and customer service excellence. Operating service trucks, the technician travels to various sites to perform essential tasks such as servicing, pumping, and cleaning portable restrooms and holding tanks. This hands-on position demands strict adherence to USS and Department of Transportation (DOT) standards for safety and service quality. The Service Technician is often the direct point of contact with customers on the worksite, responsible for ensuring services meet or exceed client expectations. Flexibility in scheduling and route management is critical, allowing seamless adjustments to meet dynamic customer needs. The role entails significant physical activity, including lifting, pushing, crouching, and kneeling, alongside skilled operational duties such as safe vehicle operation and strategic planning for site-specific restroom needs. The position offers a competitive hourly wage range between $20.42 and $27.57, aligning pay with geographic location, experience, skills, and certifications. Job Requirements

walk up to 30 minutes at a time without exertion
enter and exit equipment by stepping and kneeling

crouch and squat
push 100lbs and pull 100lbs horizontally

Job Qualifications

Minimum two years of commercial driving experience
valid driver license (CDL or non-commercial)
excellent time management, customer service and communication skills
strong problem-solving and decision making skills

Job Duties

Perform basic service truck driving functions in accordance with USS and DOT requirements
perform all work duties in a safe manner in accordance with USS and DOT safety standards to ensure no accidents or injuries
perform duties by sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
in addition, perform lifting/pushing between 50 and 150 lbs. on a frequent basis during work shift
conduct portable toilets servicing to USS 8 point service standard
perform customer service interaction when on customer work sites to ensure they are getting the services completed to their standard
ability to be flexible in order to meet customer needs when routes needs to be adjusted or changed
provide routing feedback to Operations Manager/Supervisor/Coordinator to be most efficient as well as giving the customer the best service possible
ability to strategically plan for customer needs by discussing their portable toilet needs, so the customer's current and future needs are satisfied
