The Route Sales Representative role at FritoLay is essential for maintaining strong relationships with local stores, including gas stations, dollar stores, and large grocery outlets. This full-time position comes with an attractive target earning of $62,000 per year and offers tremendous opportunities for career advancement within FritoLay and the wider organization of PepsiCo. As a Route Sales Representative, your primary responsibility is to deliver, sell, and merchandise the complete line of FritoLay products while building lasting partnerships with store managers to optimize sales and product placement.

Starting with comprehensive training lasting four to six weeks, you will learn the fundamentals of route sales, driving, merchandising, and customer engagement. You will be tasked with running routes, exchanging duties with team members to understand diverse store environments, and actively driving sales through effective display setups and national sales initiatives. This job demands excellent organizational skills, physical stamina for unloading and stocking products, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced, physical, and sometimes unpredictable environment.

Job Duties

  • Drive a company truck along assigned routes and unload products independently
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to support sales growth
  • Complete national sales initiatives and promotional displays
  • Maintain records and manage inventory during routes
