The role of Route Sales Representative (RSR) at Flowers Bakeries Sales of NorCal, LLC offers an exciting and dynamic career opportunity. Annual compensation ranges from $70,000 to $85,000 and includes a base hourly wage plus commission. This full-time role combines sales, delivery, and customer relationship management responsibilities. As an RSR, you will be the face of Flowers Foods, responsible for ordering, selling, and delivering fresh bakery products directly to retail outlets. Your professional and neat appearance, sometimes requiring a uniform, will help you build and maintain strong customer relationships, essential for business growth. Daily duties include inspecting your delivery vehicle, maintaining accurate records, and promptly reporting any maintenance issues. You will also fill out daily driver logs, time logs, and hours of service records.

This position requires flexibility with work hours, commonly starting around 3:00 a.m., and regular days off on Wednesday and Sunday. The job entails increasing sales by expanding shelf space, creatively setting up in-store promotions and displays, and rotating products to maximize freshness and shelf life. Success in this role involves leveraging data and marketing plans to foster strong customer relationships, helping to grow customer satisfaction and sales. You must be adaptable and ready to work within customers' designated service windows, which may involve non-traditional business hours to complete deliveries.

An ideal candidate will have an eagerness to learn and a mix of independent and collaborative working skills, thriving in a Direct Store Delivery (DSD) environment. Previous delivery driver experience is advantageous to meet the demands of the role effectively.
