This role involves direct interaction with retail customers to drive sales and ensure the proper merchandising of products to maximize shelf presence and customer satisfaction. As a vital part of the sales team, the Route Sales Professional is responsible for managing a sales route, handling inventory, and building strong customer relationships to secure new display space and grow sales within existing accounts.\n\nThe job offers a stable weekly base pay of $301.50 with the potential for commission, averaging between $50,000 and $60,000 annually. The working shift is from 6am to 3pm, with Wednesdays and Sundays off, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. Full benefits are offered to employees, including medical, dental, vision coverage, and a retirement plan, reinforcing the company’s commitment to supporting its workforce. \n\nResponsibilities include merchandising and stocking products, following up on new sales opportunities, introducing new products and services, conducting daily route settlement procedures, and safely operating the company route truck while complying with Department of Transportation regulations. This position demands physical activity such as climbing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and kneeling, as well as the ability to use fingers frequently for tasks such as stocking and paperwork. It also requires a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, the ability to obtain a DOT medical card, and if applicable, a chauffeur license for certain states. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in Direct Sales Distribution and strong English communication skills.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • Must have valid driver's license with safe driving record
  • Ability to acquire and maintain DOT medical card
  • Ability to obtain chauffeur license if job location is in IN MI TN
  • Ability to climb push pull bend stoop and kneel for extended periods
  • 1-3 years of related experience in direct sales distribution preferred
  • Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse and understand highway traffic signs and official inquiries

Job Duties

  • Merchandise stock and ensure proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays to guarantee quality and freshness
  • Drive sales by securing new display space setting up incremental displays and using sales data to inform store-level strategies
  • Follow up on new account opportunities and build strong customer relationships while ensuring the execution of promotions
  • Introduce new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space within existing accounts and when pursuing new customers
  • Conduct daily route settlement procedures to account for all products invoices and cash while maintaining proper inventory counts
  • Safely drive the company route truck and complete DOT daily logs
  • Submit required documentation paperwork and deposits on time
