Job Description

Crystal Clean LLC is a nationally recognized leader in the environmental and waste services sector, dedicated to providing responsible and sustainable solutions to its customers. Established as one of the nation’s leading privately held companies, Crystal Clean has built a reputation for excellence across industries, offering comprehensive services ranging from parts washing to hazardous waste pickup. With a fast-growing presence nationwide, the company focuses heavily on safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility, positioning itself as a forward-thinking employer who values its workforce and the communities it serves.

Joining Crystal Clean means becoming part of an organization committed not only to environmental stewardship but also to professional growth and career development. The company fosters a workplace culture built on principles of safety, honesty, accountability, respect, inclusion, and relationships—creating an environment where employees are empowered and supported to succeed.

The Sales & Service Representatives (SSR) role at Crystal Clean offers a unique blend of fieldwork, customer interaction, and sales-driven responsibilities, ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy dynamic, hands-on roles with a focus on building lasting client partnerships. This is a local route position, allowing employees to return home each night while managing and expanding their designated territories. The company provides a sign-on bonus of up to $2,000 alongside a six-month guaranteed training pay of $1,100 per week, ensuring new hires receive the support and resources necessary to excel.

As a Route Sales & Service Representative, your primary responsibility is to oversee your geographic route, delivering essential services like parts washing equipment maintenance and scheduled waste drum collections. This position requires you to drive a commercial motor vehicle daily, safely operate handling equipment, and maintain compliance with Department of Transportation standards. Beyond service duties, the role demands a proactive sales approach—spotting new business opportunities, promoting products and services, and driving revenue growth through excellent customer service and relationship-building.

This role is perfectly suited for someone with strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset who is comfortable using technology and skilled at multitasking. The physical demands include lifting heavy materials and maneuvering equipment safely, making physical fitness and adherence to safety protocols crucial. The ideal candidate possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and preferred certifications such as Med Card, Airbrake, and HAZMAT endorsements.

Crystal Clean offers competitive earnings with an average annual total compensation of $70,000 to $85,000 or more after one year, combining base pay with commission incentives. The comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life, long-term disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, and an employee assistance program. With opportunities for advancement in a stable and expanding industry, employees at Crystal Clean enjoy a career path that rewards dedication, performance, and continuous learning.

The company prides itself on a supportive work environment emphasizing safety and compliance, accompanied by company-paid training designed to develop your skills and knowledge. By joining Crystal Clean, you contribute toward sustaining a cleaner and safer environment for businesses and communities, all while advancing your professional journey in a role that offers variety, independence, and meaningful impact.

Take the next step in your career with Crystal Clean—a company that not only leads in environmental services but also prioritizes the success and well-being of its team members.
