At Texas Johns, we understand the importance of having reliable team members who can interact positively with customers while effectively managing their daily responsibilities. We are currently looking for a full-time Route Driver to join our Houston location. This role requires individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and who can keep a tight schedule, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision. As a Route Driver, you will be the face of Texas Johns in the field, directly engaging with customers while providing exceptional service for our portable restroom sanitation operations. This position works 40 hours per week with potential overtime during peak seasons, and may also involve weekend shifts occasionally, particularly during event seasons.

The ideal candidate is someone who can communicate effectively, solve problems independently, and demonstrate mechanical aptitude with the ability to make minor repairs as necessary. Responsibilities include completing truck inspections, loading and unloading equipment safely, operating medium-duty trucks including towing trailers, and maintaining professionalism in all interactions. This position also requires physical stamina as it involves manual labor such as loading and unloading equipment that may weigh up to 50 pounds.
