As a Restaurant Manager within the Rootstock Hospitality Group, you play a critical leadership role in ensuring the success of your designated restaurant location. You will be responsible for overseeing profitable operations and implementing effective management strategies that align with RHG's brand values and high standards. Reporting directly to the General Manager, your leadership extends to supervising all hourly staff at your location. This position requires motivated individuals who can inspire their team to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining operational excellence.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management
- Ability to obtain or possess State of Indiana Liquor License
- Serve Safe certification or ability to obtain one
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and lead a team effectively

Job Duties
- Protecting company assets and property
- Supporting the General Manager in upholding RHG standards
- Communicating all issues to General Manager timely and honestly
- Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, health and safety
- Assisting in developing, tracking and exceeding sales goals
- Participating in hiring, training and performance reviews of hourly staff
- Leading front of house staff in procedures, menu knowledge and preparation
- Resolving customer complaints and communicating issues to General Manager
- Maintaining inventories and solid understanding of POS operations
- Establishing and maintaining good relationships with team members
- Ensuring employees adhere to cleaning and organizational policies
- Implementing changes in policies and procedures as directed
- Overseeing daily breakfast, lunch and dinner operations
- Supporting General Manager in efficient spending and operations
- Ensuring timely maintenance and repair of restaurant facilities
- Documenting front of house operations and procedures
- Training hourly employees in conjunction with General Manager
- Assisting in staff development and enforcing training schedules
- Mediating personnel relationships and addressing employee concerns
- Maintaining a compliant and professional work environment
