Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Four years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related professional area
  • OR two-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • Two years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related professional area
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to manage operations in rooms departments
  • Proactive approach to guest and employee concerns
  • Knowledge of hospitality standards and compliance
  • Ability to perform quality audits
  • Experience in human resource management
  • Commitment to guest satisfaction and team motivation

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in handling human resource activities including interviewing and hiring
  • Ability to foster a positive work environment and address employee relations
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service and upholding brand standards

Job Duties

  • Assist in managing the execution of all operations in the rooms area departments
  • Lead a specific team to meet or exceed property goals
  • Monitor compliance with standards and procedures
  • Strive to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction
  • Manage scheduling against guest and hours/occupied room goals
  • Perform hourly job functions as needed
  • Conduct interviews and assist in hiring decisions
  • Communicate updates on goals and results with employees
  • Take proactive approaches in dealing with guest and employee concerns
  • Verify team capabilities to meet expectations
  • Publish guest satisfaction results timely
  • Assist and teach team scheduling
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs
