This job opportunity is based at the JW Marriott located at 265 Peachtree Center Ave NE in Atlanta, Georgia. It is a full-time, non-management position within the Housekeeping and Laundry category. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction by overseeing room cleanliness, conducting inspections, and ensuring strict adherence to safety and security protocols. The Housekeeper supports management by assisting in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching team members, thus playing a key role in maintaining organizational efficiency and service quality. Responsibilities also include accurate documentation of housekeeping tasks, responding swiftly to guest requests, and promoting a positive and professional work environment. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform various manual tasks, such as lifting and moving objects up to 55 pounds, operating housekeeping carts on uneven surfaces, and engaging in repetitive movements like bending and stooping throughout the work shift.
