Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year of related work experience
  • ability to read and interpret documents
  • physical capability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
  • good communication skills
  • compliance with company uniform and appearance standards
  • willingness to complete safety training and certifications
  • ability to work in confined and elevated spaces
  • ability to handle and move up to 55 pounds with or without assistance
  • ability to use cleaning equipment and maintain safety protocols

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year of related work experience
  • no supervisory experience required
  • knowledge of housekeeping procedures
  • ability to follow company safety policies
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • physical ability to perform job tasks
  • willingness to work as part of a team
  • basic computer skills

Job Duties

  • Enter clean room status on assignment sheets
  • complete checklists to report cleaning and condition of assigned areas
  • complete required housekeeping paperwork
  • identify room assignments and cleaning types
  • inspect guest rooms after cleaning
  • promptly respond to guest and department requests
  • access guest rooms following procedures to ensure vacancy before entry
  • assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching of employees
  • serve as a role model
