The position in question involves working primarily within the Rooms and Guest Services Operations category. The role focuses on facilitating an excellent guest check-in and check-out experience. Responsibilities include assigning rooms according to guest preferences whenever possible, pre-registering guests, preparing key packets, and organizing group check-ins and pre-registrations. The candidate will ensure guest requests or changes are tracked and accommodated when feasible, collaborate with other staff members to communicate status updates, and confirm reservations and cancellations while reviewing out-of-order rooms daily. Ensuring accurate guest billing, securing valid payment, and verifying market codes and exceptions also form critical aspects of the role.

This position emphasizes guest interaction quality, requiring the associate to welcome guests warmly, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and ensure guest satisfaction by following up on any requests or problems. The role also involves handling administrative tasks such as managing guest paperwork, running daily reports, and maintaining confidentiality regarding proprietary information. Job Duties

  • Assign room according to guest request and preferences whenever possible
  • Pre-register designated guests and prepare key packets
  • Organize and coordinate check-in/pre-registration procedures for arriving groups
  • Review/Track/Accommodate requests for room/check-out changes when possible
  • communicate status to appropriate staff
  • Confirm reservations and cancellations
  • Review out-of-order rooms daily
  • Ensure rates match market codes and document exceptions
