Job Requirements
- Open availability preferred
- Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift or move objects up to 10 pounds unassisted
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures
- Basic computer literacy
- Spanish language skills a plus but not required.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent not required
- Less than 1 year of related work experience preferred
- No supervisory experience required
- No license or certification required
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service orientation
- Basic computer skills including familiarity with point of sale systems
- Ability to work well in team settings
- Attention to detail
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
Job Duties
- Assign rooms according to guest requests and preferences whenever possible
- Pre-register selected guests and prepare key packages
- Organize and coordinate check-in and pre-registration procedures for arriving groups
- Review, follow up on, and process requests for room changes or early departures and communicate status to appropriate staff
- Confirm reservations and cancellations
- Inspect rooms out of service daily
- Ensure rates comply with market standards and document all exceptions
- Verify and adjust billing for guests
- File guest paperwork or documentation
- Organize and process all guest check-in and check-out records
- Activate room keys
- Obtain valid payments
- Identify over-allocated rooms
- Check for duplicate reservations and block rooms
- Prepare daily reports
- Follow up with guests to ensure requests or issues are resolved satisfactorily
- Receive, record, and relay messages accurately and completely
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Maintain professional uniform and appearance
- Preserve confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company property
- Greet and recognize all guests according to company standards
- Anticipate and address guest service needs
- Assist individuals with disabilities
- Communicate clearly and professionally
- Prepare and review written documents accurately
- Handle phones using proper protocol
- Coordinate tasks and work with other departments
- Serve as departmental role model or mentor
- Cultivate positive working relationships
- Support team objectives
- Adhere to quality safety standards
