Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year experience in high volume food production setting
  • ServSafe certification required within 6 months of hire

  • Associate's Degree in Culinary, Hospitality, or Nutrition preferred
  • 1 year experience in high volume food production setting
  • 2 years experience in high volume food production setting preferred
  • ServSafe certification required within 6 months of hire

Job Duties

  • Prepare large volumes of food with a high level of complexity, variety, and quality
  • Prepare entrees, sandwiches, soups, starches, vegetables, sauces, and desserts for general diets and modified diets
  • Assess quality and condition of ingredients used in food production
  • Prepare food production reports and documentation
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen team members to maintain a smooth operation
  • Ensure all food safety standards and sanitation requirements are met
  • Manage time efficiently to meet meal service deadlines
