Job Requirements
- Ability to read and communicate in English
- Ability to add subtract multiply and divide using whole numbers common fractions decimals and compute percentages
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- At least one year of food service or customer service experience
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills
- Strong basic computer skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs

Job Duties
- Communicate effectively timely and courteously with patients nursing and family members when obtaining meal choices
- Enter meal selections orders preferences and special requests accurately into the CBORD Room Service tablet system
- Deliver and collect patient trays snacks and tube feeding products
- Verify patient satisfaction and identify meal service problems
- Maintain clean and sanitary work environment including monitoring and stocking floor supplies
- Communicate with dietitian or dietetic technician about patients food beverage and supplement intake
- Assist patients on missed meal report for menu selections
