Job Requirements

Ability to read and communicate in English
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and compute percentages
High school graduate or equivalent preferred
At least one year of food service or customer service experience
Basic computer skills
Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 35 lbs, and perform repetitive motions
Effective verbal communication abilities
Willingness to maintain a clean, sanitary work environment
Ability to respond quickly to identify and eliminate safety hazards

Job Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent preferred
At least one year of previous food service or customer service experience
Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Experience with CBORD preferred
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting

Job Duties

Communicating effectively, timely and courteously with patients, nursing, and family members when obtaining meal choices
Entering meal selections into the CBORD computerized Room Service tablet system
Verifying patient satisfaction with meal services
Identifying and assisting with meal service problems and missed meal reports
Communicating with dietitians or dietetic technicians regarding poor patient intake
Reporting patient special requests for foods not allowed on their diets
Maintaining accurate and current meal order information in CBORD
Delivering patient nourishments, snacks, and tube feeding products
Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of work environment
Monitoring and filling floor stock according to pars
Checking refrigerators and dry storage areas for cleanliness and discarding out-of-date products
Identifying and eliminating safety hazards
Performing duties of the Room Service Call Representative as needed
Working well in a team environment
