Job Requirements
- Ability to read and communicate in the English language
- Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals and to compute percentages
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- At least one-year previous food service or customer service experience
- Strong basic computer skills
- Physical ability to lift to 35 lbs
- Speech sight and hearing to effectively communicate
- Exposure to patient environment
- Ability to work standing and walking with repetitive motions such as reaching pulling and pushing
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- At least one-year previous food service or customer service experience
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills
- Strong basic computer skills
- CBORD experience preferred
- Ability to read and communicate in English
- Ability to add subtract multiply and divide and compute percentages
Job Duties
- Communicate effectively timely and courteously with patients nursing and family members when obtaining meal choices to enter into the CBORD computerized Room Service tablet system
- Verify patient satisfaction and identify meal service problems
- Assist patients on missed meal reports for menu selections each meal
- Communicate with dietitian or dietetic technician when patient food beverage supplement intake is poor
- Accurately enter and update all meal selections orders preferences special requests for food in CBORD system
- Maintain clean and sanitary work environment and perform cleaning and waste disposal duties
- Deliver all patient nourishments snacks and tube feeding products
- Work well in a team environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
- May perform duties of the Room Service Call Representative as needed
