Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year experience in a food service or room service role within a hotel or quality food service environment
- Knowledge of food service standards and quality control
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Capacity to lift and carry trays weighing over 35 pounds
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Adherence to hotel uniform and grooming standards
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One plus years experience as Food Service /Room Service Attendant in quality food service/hotel operation
- Thorough knowledge of quality food service techniques and standards
- Exceptional guest service attitude and abilities
- Ability to lift and carry food service trays weighting 35 plus pounds
- Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepares silver, room service trays, coffee etc. at start of and throughout shift, as required
- Presets trays and carts as required throughout shift
- Prepares each tray for specific order requirements
- Checks all Room Service Orders for accuracy and completeness prior to departing kitchen
- Delivers Room Service Orders to guestroom in a timely manner
- Sets up and serves order in guest room according to guest preference and Loews Hotels Standards in a polite professional manner
- Obtains proper charge authorization or payment for orders delivered
- Completes all necessary paperwork accurately and legibly
- Picks up soiled Room Service trays and carts from guestrooms and corridors as needed
- Cleans and maintains Room Service area and equipment
- Delivers amenities to guestrooms
