We are currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Housekeeping Associates. This role is integral to maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and public areas, directly impacting the overall guest experience. This position offers flexibility with part-time and full-time options, accompanied by a competitive hourly wage ranging from $11.00 to $12.00 per hour. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms and corridors by performing a variety of cleaning tasks. Your role will include checking and restocking housekeeping carts, stripping used linens and towels, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, making beds, and replenishing guest amenities. You will also monitor and report any maintenance issues to ensure rooms comply with hotel standards. Being the first point of contact for guests in their rooms, you will greet them warmly and respond to their requests with professionalism and courtesy.
The position requires excellent communication skills to interact effectively and positively with guests, as well as a commitment to working flexible hours including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of cleaning experience and a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. This is a hands-on role that demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and a friendly disposition to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Job Duties
- Check housekeeping cart for supplies, stock as needed
- Greet guests immediately with friendly and sincere acknowledgment
- Strip dirty linens/towels and remove used amenities from room/suite
- Clean rooms/suites, as assigned, which includes making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and washing windows/tracks
- Report rooms as clean and available
- Report maintenance deficiencies in order to maintain the room in compliance with hotel standards
- Replenish linen and guest amenities
- Respond to special requests by guests such as providing extra amenities or service time requests
- Communicate clearly and effectively with guests using a positive, clear speaking voice
- Be willing and available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
