The role of Housekeeper, also known as Room Attendant, is a vital position within the hotel’s operational team. This role primarily involves maintaining clean, attractive, and well-stocked guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in accordance with hotel procedures. As a Housekeeper, the incumbent will service guest rooms daily, including tasks such as replacing bed linens, replenishing guest room supplies, and ensuring sanitation and orderliness. The position requires strict adherence to company safety and security procedures to protect both guests and employees.
In addition to routine cleaning duties, the Housekeeper may occasionally be responsible for performing detailed 'deep cleaning' within guest rooms. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Must comply with safety and security policies
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties
- Maintain clean and attractive guest rooms in accordance with hotel procedures
