Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • some experience in hotel or related field preferred
  • ability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • ability to exert up to 20 pounds frequently
  • ability to stand for entire shift
  • effective communication skills

  • ability to follow instructions
  • availability to work seasonal hours from June to September
  • flexibility to work approximately 30 hours per week

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • experience in a hotel or related field preferred
  • ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally

Job Duties

  • Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards
  • complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest and cleaning supplies and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
  • remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways
  • keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed
  • restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day use
  • replenish chemical bottles
  • report missing items to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager
  • report maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager
  • handle items for Lost and Found according to standards
  • ensure overall guest satisfaction
