Residence Inn El Paso, located at 6355 Gateway W Boulevard, El Paso, TX, is part of Highgate's hotel portfolio. The hotel is currently seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to join their housekeeping team. This role is hourly and is fundamental to maintaining the cleanliness and overall guest satisfaction within the property. The Room Attendant is responsible for thoroughly cleaning guestrooms to meet the brand's high standards, ensuring all areas are hygienic, presentable, and welcoming. Duties include completing all pre-cleaning tasks such as preparing guest and cleaning supplies, removing trash and linens, maintaining hallways and public areas, restocking housekeeping carts, and reporting lost items or maintenance issues to supervisors. The Room Attendant must uphold excellent communication skills, a friendly and courteous demeanor, and provide attentive service to guests. This position requires the physical capacity to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and the ability to stand for the entire shift. Experience in a hotel or a related field is preferred along with a high school diploma or equivalent. Job Duties

  • Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards
  • Complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
  • Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways
  • Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed
  • Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day's use
  • Replenish chemical bottles
  • Report all missing items from room to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager
  • Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager
  • Handle items for Lost and Found according to standards
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
