The role of Room Attendant at HRI Hospitality is a vital position within the Housekeeping Department, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, back-of-house areas, and public spaces throughout the hotel. This full-time position offers a competitive pay range of $16.90 to $23.00 per hour and reports to the Executive Housekeeper and Housekeeping Supervisor. As a Room Attendant, individuals will play a key role in upholding the hotel’s high cleanliness standards, ensuring that every guest encounter begins in a welcoming and immaculate environment.
Room Attendants at HRI Hospitality are tasked with cleaning guest rooms efficiently and thoroughly, paying close attention to detail to meet stringent cleanliness standards. They conduct self-inspections of each room after cleaning and before final checks to guarantee quality control. The role requires communication with supervisors and maintenance teams for reporting any issues and collaboration with team members to complete daily assignments effectively. Guests are greeted warmly and professionally, enhancing their overall experience.
Safety and compliance are also paramount in this role. Room Attendants must adhere to all safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment and report potential hazards promptly. Job Requirements
- US work authorization required
- 6 months previous housekeeping experience in hotel resort or similar preferred but not required
- ability to work as part of a team
- able to work with little or no supervision
- must meet grooming standards
- strong attention to detail as it pertains to cleanliness standards
- able to demonstrate high energy and strong enthusiasm for customer service
- must be able to work varied shifts including weekends holidays and at times overtime depending on business needs

Job Duties
- clean guest rooms up to hotel standards including guest hallways public areas and back of house areas as needed
- report any maintenance issues to engineering and or supervisor manager to address them
- thoroughly inspect each guest room once it has been cleaned and completed before housekeeping supervisor does a final inspection
- communicate to supervisor housekeeping manager or general manager when recovering any and all lost and found items
- effectively work with team members to accomplish assigned tasks each day
- greet each guest that you encounter in the hallways lobby or public areas with good morning or good afternoon or good evening
- follow procedures for entering and leaving guest rooms
- turn in keys and communication devices to the housekeeping department when shift ends
- follow all instructions when filling spray bottles with cleaning chemicals never mix chemicals
- maintain organization and cleanliness of storage closets guest laundry areas and corridors
- arrive at scheduled start time in appropriate uniform and ready for work
- maintain control of keys issued to perform assigned duties
- work efficiently and as part of the team

- watch for safety hazards and report them immediately to your department supervisor
