Job Description

Lahn Hospitality Group is a dynamic and growing family-owned company that operates a variety of hospitality businesses which include amusement parks, a hotel, restaurants, bars, golf courses, and more. Since its inception in 1997, the group has built a reputation for delivering exceptional entertainment and hospitality experiences. Among its noteworthy ventures are The Funplex amusement parks located along the East Coast, featuring a blend of family-friendly rides, thrilling attractions, waterparks, bowling centers, and arcades. This diverse portfolio reflects the company’s commitment to providing both fun and quality service across multiple sectors of the hospitality industry.

In addition to its amusement park ventures, Lahn Hospitality Group expanded in December 2021 with the acquisition of The Legacy Club in Cherry Hill, New Jersey — a prestigious country club complete with a refined golf course and exclusive membership offerings. The club has undergone extensive renovation that includes a new on-site restaurant and an atrium event facility, enhancing its appeal as a premium social and sport destination.

Most recently, in the fall of 2023, Lahn Hospitality Group launched its first dual-branded hotel — the La Quinta and Hawthorn Suites extended stay hotel in Mount Laurel/Moorestown, New Jersey. This property is significant as it is the first in the area to combine two distinct Wyndham brand experiences under one roof, offering guests 125 meticulously maintained rooms, an indoor swimming pool, an exercise gym, meeting spaces, and limited food service including a breakfast buffet. The hotel embodies Lahn Hospitality Group’s dedication to providing exceptional guest experiences through quality accommodations and comprehensive amenities.

The Room Attendant role at the La Quinta and Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Mount Laurel/Moorestown is a critical position that supports the hotel’s commitment to outstanding customer service and guest satisfaction. As a part-time role, it offers a rate of $16.00 per hour, reflecting the company’s recognition of the importance of quality housekeeping staff in enhancing the overall guest experience.

In this role, the Room Attendant reports directly to the Operations Supervisors and is entrusted with ensuring that guest rooms maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and safety. The position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities include thorough cleaning and restocking of guest rooms, maintaining guest supplies, removing trash and soiled linens, and occasionally performing deep cleaning tasks such as disassembling furniture to properly clean all areas.

This role is suited for individuals who thrive in a team-oriented environment and who understand the important influence their work has on the guest experience and the hotel's reputation. The successful candidate will consistently approach guests and fellow employees with friendliness and professionalism while adhering to brand standards for appearance and service delivery.

Lahn Hospitality Group fosters a supportive work environment where employees can develop their skills and grow within a diverse hospitality company. For those passionate about becoming leaders in the hospitality sector, this opportunity represents a meaningful step forward in a rewarding career path. The company provides flexible part-time shifts and values diversity and inclusion in its workforce in alignment with equal employment opportunity principles. If you are committed to excellence in customer service and enjoy working in a fast-paced yet structured atmosphere, the Room Attendant position at this dual-branded hotel is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable and expanding hotel company.
