The Housekeeper role at HHM Hotels is an entry-level position designed for individuals dedicated to maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms in line with the company’s high standards. The typical career path for this position includes advancement to Housekeeping Supervisor, Assistant Executive Housekeeper, and eventually Executive Housekeeper, allowing motivated employees to enhance their skills and take on increased responsibilities.

As a Housekeeper, you will perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks in guest rooms to ensure that each room meets established cleanliness and hygiene standards. Duties include changing bed linens, replenishing towels and amenities, dusting and polishing furniture, and reporting any maintenance issues to the management team. Attention to detail is critical in this role to uphold the quality and comfort guests expect during their stay. Moreover, housekeepers are responsible for processing any lost and found items according to policies, practicing safe work habits while using cleaning chemicals, and occasionally assisting in other roles such as house person or lobby attendant during busy periods.

The role requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing and pulling carts, bending, squatting, and lifting items weighing up to 20 pounds. This physical component of the job demands stamina and adherence to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment and compliance with safety standards set by OSHA and MSDS. The work schedule may involve weekends and holidays, reflecting the hospitality industry's 24/7 nature.
