As a prominent player in the hotel industry, HHM Hotels continually invests in its people, facilities, and operational processes, ensuring it remains competitive and innovative in delivering memorable stays.
The role of a Guest Room Cleaner at HHM Hotels is an essential position responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of guest rooms to meet established standards. This role is pivotal to the guest experience as it ensures comfort, hygiene, and satisfaction during their stay. A Guest Room Cleaner at HHM Hotels will be expected to clean guest rooms efficiently within specified time frames using various cleaning methods such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Using attention to detail, the employee will change bed linens, replenish towels and amenities, and clean and polish furniture and fixtures. The role also includes dusting of furniture, walls, and equipment, while identifying and reporting any maintenance issues to management for prompt repair.
The Guest Room Cleaner will also play a key part in guest interaction by greeting guests warmly and contributing to an environment where guest satisfaction is a priority. The employee will handle guest belongings left behind according to the hotel’s lost and found policy, ensuring items are processed correctly. In periods of high demand or short staffing, the Guest Room Cleaner may be required to perform additional duties such as house person and lobby attendant roles.
Safety and compliance are also critical components of this role, requiring the individual to practice safe work habits at all times. They must wear protective safety equipment and adhere strictly to Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards. The role is designed with career advancement in mind, providing a clear growth path from Guest Room Cleaner to Housekeeping Supervisor, Assistant Executive Housekeeper, and eventually Executive Housekeeper for those motivated to excel and grow within the organization.
This position is ideal for individuals who have prior housekeeping experience or relevant training and who value maintaining high-quality hospitality standards.
