Job Description

HHM Hotels is a renowned hospitality company known for its commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences through impeccable service standards and a warm, welcoming environment. As a leading hotel group, HHM Hotels operates a variety of properties ranging from upscale to economy hotels, catering to diverse customer needs. With a deep focus on team member growth and guest satisfaction, the company prides itself on creating an inclusive workplace where employees can advance their careers within the hospitality industry. HHM Hotels emphasizes values such as 'People Are Our Capability,' 'Hearts That Serve,' 'Only Excellence,' 'Stay Nimble,' and 'Own It,' reflecting its dedication to service excellence and continuous improvement.

The role of a Housekeeper at HHM Hotels is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms and public areas, thereby ensuring a positive and memorable stay for guests. As a Housekeeper, your primary responsibility will be to clean and maintain guest rooms to meet and exceed the established hotel standards. This position plays a fundamental role in upholding the brand’s reputation for excellence and dedicated guest service.

Housekeepers at HHM Hotels follow a well-defined growth path, beginning with the position of Housekeeping Supervisor, progressing to Assistant Executive Housekeeper, and ultimately advancing to Executive Housekeeper. This career progression path offers opportunities for professional development and leadership within the hotel’s housekeeping department.

The responsibilities extend beyond just cleaning; they incorporate guest interaction where you greet guests warmly, enhancing their overall experience. You will clean guest rooms using a variety of methods such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming, ensuring each room is prepared within an allotted time frame. Responsibilities also include changing bed linens, replenishing towels and amenities, cleaning and polishing furniture, and dusting various surfaces.

Additionally, you play a vital role in maintenance by notifying management about needed repairs and ensuring guest belongings left behind are processed according to the lost and found policy. This role also requires adherence to safety protocols by practicing safe work habits, using appropriate protective equipment, and following OSHA and MSDS standards to create a safe environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Flexibility is also important as you may be required to perform other duties such as house person and lobby attendant tasks, particularly during peak periods or when short-staffed. Ultimately, your goal is to contribute towards improving guest satisfaction scores and delivering an exceptional guest experience that aligns with HHM Hotels’ quality standards.
