The company prides itself on a culture that values inclusivity, diversity, and equal opportunity, fostering an environment where people are empowered to succeed and contribute to a vibrant workplace. HHM Hotels stands out in the hospitality sector by emphasizing quality, innovation, and employee development, making it a sought-after employer in the industry.
The Room Attendant opportunity at HHM Hotels plays a vital role in maintaining the impeccable standards of cleanliness and guest comfort that define the brand. This position is essential in ensuring that guest rooms meet and exceed established standards through thorough cleaning, maintenance, and timely attention to details such as linen changes and amenity replenishment. Room attendants are the frontline employees who directly impact guest satisfaction by providing a welcoming atmosphere and a clean, comfortable environment for guests to enjoy. The role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a proactive approach to guest needs and hotel operations.
Individuals in this role will be responsible for a variety of housekeeping tasks including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing furniture and fixtures, all while adhering to safety standards including the use of protective safety equipment and compliance with OSHA and MSDS guidelines. They will also handle guest possessions left behind according to the lost and found policy, ensuring proper processing and management. Additionally, room attendants may support other hotel operations by stepping in as house person or lobby attendants during peak times or when short-staffed, demonstrating the need for flexibility and teamwork.
HHM Hotels offers a clear growth path within its housekeeping department, with opportunities for advancement to Housekeeping Supervisor, Assistant Executive Housekeeper, and ultimately Executive Housekeeper. This pathway encourages professional development and recognition for those who demonstrate dedication, leadership, and a commitment to maintaining high standards across the property.
Working as a Room Attendant at HHM Hotels means committing to the company’s core values which emphasize capability, service heart, excellence, agility, and accountability. The work environment is dynamic and may require standing for long periods, manual labor including lifting up to 20 pounds, and the use of cleaning chemicals. Schedules are varied and may include weekends and holiday shifts, reflecting the operational needs of a busy hotel.
HHM Hotels provides competitive wages for both full-time and part-time employees and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, 401k company match, daily pay options, free basic life insurance, travel discounts, commuter transit and parking benefits, employee assistance and wellness programs, educational and professional development opportunities, and a referral bonus program. These benefits underscore HHM Hotels’ commitment to supporting the well-being and career growth of its staff while delivering exceptional service to guests.
